In a period where it seemed that there was nothing left to be invented and to be proposed in this sector, NOVELI has courageously dared to invest and introduce highly innovative design products.
Production, logistics and offices are set in a harmonious balance between nature and modernity. DESIGN - RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
Water is the protagonist. Primordial element and bearer of life, is transformed by NOVELI as a generator of well-being and energy. The meticulous research, the application of new technologies and the desire to give a quid of character make water available in new shapes.
From the first hand-made prototypes till the software-managed processes, the aesthetic and quality innovation hasn't changed: the harmony to which we are inspired is the same that we breathe at NOVELI among the people who work every day to create something unique and surprising at the same time, setting new ambitious goals and looking at the future with confidence and optimism.
An experience, which has observed since the first creations a particular attention and care in the assortment of a wide range of kitchen and bathroom taps. A variety of shapes, styles and finishes to fit in any environment enriching and embellishing it.

To bring beauty in daily life, in everyday life, is almost an obligation for NOVELI, to provide a product that is not only functional but that represents the way we are.
PRODUCTION
Focusing on the creation of a personal style, clear-cut and original, makes it possible to create a unique, characteristic and unmistakable product. Only through improvement and control of all the production steps from mechanical processes to superficial treatments, from cleaning to assembly till painting, the work of NOVELI is realised in the production of instruments which includes functional design concept, coupling the visual aspect of the matter with physical and real essence of sensorial well-being.
The workshop department, with the help of transfer machines, multi-spindle lathes, realizes the tap components. The mechanical processing is carried out on bars or pressed brass coming from the foundry. The processed pieces are then washed to remove impurities and material deposited on the surface. The products have to observe a polishing stage which allows making the brass surface leveled till getting it completely smooth for the next processing.
One of the two passages after the polishing is the painting. The tap components are hung on special frames, which passing through a watertight cabin are spray-painted and introduced in a furnace in order to dry the paint. Most taps are subject to galvanic electro-deposition chrome treatment.
In fact, the components of the taps are loaded on frames that, by means of an electric carriage, are immersed in the treatment basins. The first deposition is nickel, the second one is chrome, a metal that gives the characteristic hardness to the finished products, and causes the tap not to wear out.
Furthermore, there is the possibility to apply PVD and Exclusive Metal finishes to normal production and tailor-made products.
After the superficial treatments, the components can finally be assembled. At the MCI [Assembly -Test - Packaging] department, there are tables equipped for the assembly of the elements with manual equipment. Pieces are inspected by the testing units placed on board of the machine or directly at the water-testing bench.
The shipping department deals with the shipment of the product to the final customer, delivering pallets and packs to the carriers.
NOVELI has an intensive automatic vertical storehouse. The realization of this work allowed that all the materials present in the company could be put in one place. Material handling occurs by means of computerized shuttles that carry the necessary to all the production units.
SUSTAINABILITY
SUSTAINABLE ETHIC: A COMPANY THAT GENERATES VALUE
NOVELIs commitment to the environment has concretely started in 2007 when the company obtained the UNI EN ISO 14001 Certification - Environmental Management System.
According to this standard, the company systematically promotes a better ecological performance and greater protection of the environment to achieve environmental goals, controlling and maintaining regulatory compliance, define specific environmental responsibilities.
HOW?
How to do that? By trying to gradually improve our performances with intervention strategic planning, evaluating the results and involving the employees in putting into place new goals.
As stated in the company's "Policy for Quality, Environment and Safety", NOVELI management promotes a culture of quality, respect for the environment and attention to health and safety in the workplace, to be achieved and perfected with determination, in the belief that these aspects are fundamental for the company growth and development of employees, customers, suppliers and the community.
PWP PROCESS
NOVELI continuous search for eco-sustainable innovation allowed the company to develop important technological growth. The PWP innovative process keeps the drinking water from taps and mixers pure.
PWP (Pure Water Process) prevents the tap from releasing harmful metal particles of lead and nickel (heavy metals toxic for ingestion) into drinking water. PWP is a fourth-generation chrome plating process consisting of two treatments: the first one chemically removes lead from the taps and the second prevents nickel from dissolving into the water. To do so, we use an electrolytic nickel deposit: it is extremely resistant to corrosion and activated by some elements, which prevent oxidation and the release of nickel ions into the water.

RESPONSIBLE USE OF AIR
Heat recovery and ventilation systems represent a winning combination save energy and have excellent air quality. NOVELI has always invested in this project: the heat recovery units used in air conditioning systems are exchangers that allow the transfer of heat and/or humidity between two airflows, thanks to a temperature or humidity difference. This system increases the energy efficiency of the entire structure.
ENERGY FROM RENEWABLE SOURCES
NOVELI uses 100% green energy.
We carefully selected suppliers that chose renewable energy and put into place sustainable solutions to protect the environment for future generations.
LED ILLUMINATION
NOVELI Research and Development department created a project of LED light installation throughout the entire structure to optimize energy consumption: the lighting changes depending on environmental conditions.
Thanks to this project, we can save lots of energy without affecting the working environment and allowing optimal lighting.
TAILOR MADE
“NOVELI for you” is a new project aimed to design and realize products able to satisfy demands and desires. This service represents the “tailor made” concept meeting different trade and Architects requests.
